Every holiday season, as people gently unwrap their favorite ornaments and decorations, there are a few gasps and tears when a favorite snow globe is found broken.
Maybe the glass globe has cracked, or perhaps the liquid has clouded or evaporated. Regardless, a childhood treasure isn't ready for prime time on the mantle display.
Don't throw that broken snow globe away without checking to see if it can be repaired. While Snow Globe Central does not fix mechanical globes or music box snow globes, we can often repair many broken snow globes. We can replace round glass globes in several sizes, restore the liquid and match the lost glitter, snow or mylar confetti from our stock.
We will treat your broken snow globe with all the respect and care required and do our best to repair and restore it to its shining, glittering glory.
Details for what we can fix (and what we can't fix) are on our snow globe repair website, along with pricing. If you can't buy another one just like it, repairing may be the best way to make a memorable snow globe beautiful again.
We can:
replace standard round glass globes in several sizes.
replace the lost liquid
closely match the original glitter or confetti or snow
quote you on the cost of repair before you send it to us
We cannot:
fix plastic domes or glass domes
repair mechanical parts or music boxes
restore lighting in a snow globe
repair non-spherical globes (unusual shapes) as we may not have the vintage glass to match.
Please feel free to contact us for more information about repairing your special snow globe memory.

I have a 5 inch water snow globe purchased from Costco about 15 years ago. It’s in perfect condition except for yucky brown water. The bottom doesn’t seem to be able to be removed as it is sealed with a very permanent type of sealant. Removing three tiny screws reveals plastic gear mechanism. I really want the water to be replaced. Does this sound like something you could do and an approximate cost?
Thanks for responding!
